CTYIP honors O'Neil with Director of the Year award

HARTFORD, Conn.–The Connecticut Young Insurance Professionals and Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc. today presented Francis (Bud) ONeil with their Director of the Year award for the second time at PIACTs Annual Business Meeting at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn. ONeil is a producer for C.V. Mason & Co., in Bristol, Conn. He first received this honor in 2012.

This award is presented by CTYIP to an individual who actively supports and works for the goals and objectives of CTYIP. ONeil was honored for his leadership, attention to responsibilities and tireless work ethic. CTYIP, an affiliate of PIACT, promotes the professional and personal growth of those new to the insurance field by providing education and networking opportunities.

An active member of the association, ONeil serves as member/consumer relations chair of PIACTs Association Programs Committee.

"Bud is an effective and respected individual," said Nick Ruickoldt, CPIA, president of CTYIP. "His dedication and loyalty to PIACT and CTYIP and its members are to be admired."

The CTYIP is an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. It is an affiliate of PIACT, a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies and their employees throughout the state.
