Job Description PIANJ Committee Liaison NJYIP is encouraged to provide liaisons to PIANJ committees. These individuals represent the interests of the young insurance professionals members, and provide input on actions and initiatives of PIANJ. This appointment ensures continuity of communication between both organizations, with a shared goal of working closer together as one PIA team. As a liaison to PIANJ committee, your responsibilities will include: 1) Report to the PIA committee on any NJYIP activities that are relevant. Every effort should be made to have a written report of actions and issues. 2) Participate as an active committee member. Information, ideas or opinions should be shared with members of the committee. You are not there just to represent NJYIP. 3) Look for opportunities for NJYIP to be involved and/or identify projects in which we can play an active role. This should be discussed with the respective NJYIP committee before committing the organization to an action. 4) Provide a report to the Executive Committee and the respective NJYIP committee issues and actions discussed at the PIA committee meeting. Attendance at these meetings is mandatory. If you are unable to attend, please let NJYIP staff know in advance so that a replacement can be sent in your place.
