Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc.'s Annual Convention, March 17-18, offered insurance professionals a multitude of opportunities to make industry connections, stay on top of the latest trends and further their knowledge.

Nearly 500 professional independent agents and insurance industry representatives from across the state gathered at Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket, and were treated to a program of events that included insights from top state government officials, opportunities to obtain continuing education credits and a chance to meet with PIACT's newly announced leadership. Connecticut Lt. Gov. Michael Fedele and the state's Insurance Commissioner Thomas R. Sullivan were both on hand, addressing the importance of the industry and small businesses to the state's economy. The conference also featured several fascinating education sessions, an expansive industry trade show and numerous networking opportunities.
