PIACT calls for InsureTech companies to demo at Connecticut Convention

HARTFORD, Conn.—The Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut is calling for InsureTech innovators—whose products benefit the independent insurance agency system—to provide demonstrations during its Connecticut Convention, March 5-6, 2020, at Foxwoods Resort & Casino. The InsureTech demonstrations will be held Thursday, March 5.

“Insurance professionals are realizing that working with InsureTech companies can help to develop their relationships with their clients,” said PIACT President Mark Connelly, CIC. “Connecticut Convention is one of the largest gatherings of insurance professionals in the state, so it’s the perfect location for InsureTech vendors to highlight how their products can benefit the insurance industry.”

InsureTech companies that would like to promote their technology-based products and services to insurance professionals at Connecticut Convention can email PIA Conference Manager Kim Zielinski. The deadline to sign up for the demonstration is Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.

More than 400 agents, company representatives, exhibitors and other insurance industry professionals from Connecticut are expected to attend the event. The event will include a networking luncheon in the trade show, education sessions and more. Additional event information.
