DeStasio elected PIANJ treasurer

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—Michael DeStasio Jr. of Iselin, N.J., was elected treasurer of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey today at the association’s annual business meeting at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. DeStasio is executive vice president of The Insurance Centers in Cranford, N.J.

DeStasio is an active member of PIANJ, serving as a member of the Business Issues and Executive/Budget & Finance committees. He also is a member of the Carrier Advisory Council.

Active in the industry, DeStasio is a member of the New Jersey Commercial Auto Insurance Plan Governing Committee.

In his community, DeStasio is an assistant scout master for The Boy Scouts of America.

PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
