PIANJ elects seven to board of directors
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey today elected seven independent insurance agents from around the state to its board of directors, at the association’s annual business meeting at Harrah’s in Atlantic City.
The following individuals were re-elected to serve for a three-year term, expiring in 2019:
Lloyd Bush, CPIA of Fair Haven, N.J. Bush is a producer for Keer & Heyer in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.
Active in PIANJ, Bush was elected vice president of the association for 2016-17. He served vice president in 2015-16; treasurer in 2014-15; secretary in 2013-14. He also is vice president of the association’s Membership Services/Programs and Special Olympics Golf Committees and he is a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.
Kacy Campion Renna, CIC of Wall Township, N.J. Renna is CEO/owner of Connelly-Campion-Wright in Belmar, N.J.
An active member of PIANJ, Renna was re-elected vice president for 2016-17. She served as vice president in 2014-16; treasurer in 2013-14; secretary in 2012-13 and is vice president of the Women’s Business Forum. She also is vice president of the Business Issues Committee and is a member of the Executive/Budget & Finance Committees.
Mario Fernandez, JD, of Ridgefield, N.J. Fernandez is owner/producer of M&F Insurance Agency in North Bergen, N.J.
Active in the association, Fernandez is chairperson of the Northeast NJ Advisory Council and is a member of the Membership Services/Programs Committee.
Donald F. LaPenna Jr. of Cranford, N.J. LaPenna is president of Donald F. LaPenna Associates Inc. in Cranford. Active in PIANJ, LaPenna will serve as president in 2016-17.
An active member of PIANJ, LaPenna served as first vice president in 2015-16; vice president of the association in 2013-15 and treasurer in 2012-13. He also is vice president of the Government Affairs Committee and the Political Action sub Committee. He also is a member of Executive/Budget & Finance Committee.
Thomas Wilkens of Belford, N.J. Wilkens is assistant vice president/branch manager of McGowan Risk Specialists in Eatontown, N.J.
Active in the association, Wilkens is Legislative/Regulatory vice chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee. He also is chairperson of PIANJ’s Political Action sub-committee and is a member of the Special Olympics Golf Committee. Wilkens in an active past president of the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals, an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of newcomers to the insurance industry. It is an affiliate of PIANJ.
The following individuals were elected to serve for a three-year term, expiring in 2019:
Robert J. Davies, CPIA of Murray Hill, N.J. Davies is principal of Davies & Associates Insurance Management in New Providence, N.J. Active in PIANJ, Davies is a member of PIANJ’s Political Action Subcommittee the Northwest Advisory Council. He also is a member of the Business Issues Committee.
Jocelyn Rineer, CIC, CLP. Rineer is Director of Field Services for ANE, Agency Network Exchange LLC. Active in the association, Rineer is a member of the Women’s Business Forum and the Membership Services/Programs Committees.
PIANJ is a trade association representing professional, independent insurance agencies, brokerages and their employees throughout the state.
