Mark is currently employed as a Commercial Underwriter & Marketing Representative with the Oswego County Mutual Insurance Company of Parish, NY. Mark received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1995 and obtained his Certificate of General Insurance in 1991. Mark continues to maintain a valid New York State insurance broker's license and has been an active instructor for CIC and CISR institutes since 2001. He is the Educational Consultant for CIC institutes conducted in New York and current resides in Hastings, NY.

Richard Goolsby

CIC

Rick Goolsby entered the insurance business in 1973 as a producer with his family-owned agency in Milford, Ohio. In 1974, he began selling life and health insurance in addition to property and casualty insurance.In 1984, Rick became a Personal Producing General Agent for a New York-based life insurance company, and he began hiring and training producers in addition to his personal production of life sales. He also remained active as a property and casualty producer with his family agency.In 1984, Rick also began teaching basic insurance licensing courses in the State of Ohio. In 1991, he joined the Local Faculty of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, and in 1994, he was elevated to National Faculty status with CIC, and has since been teaching extensively in the CIC and also the CISR programs.In 1993, Rick was elevated to president of the property and casualty agency in Milford. He remained active in the agency as president and producer until August, 2004, when he and his family decided to sell the agency.Rick was named as Educational Consultant for CIC programs in the State of Kentucky in 2003, and remains active as Educational Consultant and as a national speaker in the CIC and CISR programs.

Darrin Rankin

Darrin Rankin is the President of the Rankin Insurance Group, located in Huntersville, North Carolina, (a suburb of Charlotte). Darrin started the Rankin Insurance Group as a scratch Agent in 2001, when he relocated from Syracuse, New York to Charlotte North Carolina. The Rankin Insurance Group is an Independent Insurance Agency offering Auto, Home, Business and Life Insurance products. Darrin is licensed in NC, SC, GA, VA, PA, MD, OH and IL.Prior to starting the Rankin Insurance Group, he worked for the Erie Insurance Group for 5 years as a District Sales Manager where he recruited, trained, and managed Agents through central NY. While working for Erie Insurance, he earned his MBA from Syracuse University and completed his CIC designation in 2000.Darrin also serves as an Insurance Pre-Licensing instructor at Central Piedmont Community College. Darrin is a board member for IIANC, a Board Member for the North Carolina Reinsurance Facility, and a Subject Matter Expert for PearsonVue. In 2018 Darrin received the honorable distinction of CIC National Faculty.
