Mr. Fleming, entered the life insurance business in 1971 with the Boston Agency of the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company.
After ten years of personal production, Doug was named to a management position as new agent training supervisor, a position he held for three years before joining Berkshire Life as an agency supervisor, a position he held for ten years. He is currently affiliated with the Boston agency of the Union Central Life, as a brokerage supervisor.
Doug moderates licensing classes for PIIAM of New England and Educational Training Systems of Southborough, Massachusetts.
In 1990, Doug was named to the associate faculty, Insurance and Financial Services of Northeastern University, Boston, Mass. and was also named to the National Faculty of CIC, Austin, Texas.

CIC
Rick Goolsby entered the insurance business in 1973 as a producer with his family-owned agency in Milford, Ohio. In 1974, he began selling life and health insurance in addition to property and casualty insurance.
In 1984, Rick became a Personal Producing General Agent for a New York-based life insurance company, and he began hiring and training producers in addition to his personal production of life sales. He also remained active as a property and casualty producer with his family agency.
In 1984, Rick also began teaching basic insurance licensing courses in the State of Ohio. In 1991, he joined the Local Faculty of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, and in 1994, he was elevated to National Faculty status with CIC, and has since been teaching extensively in the CIC and also the CISR programs.
In 1993, Rick was elevated to president of the property and casualty agency in Milford. He remained active in the agency as president and producer until August, 2004, when he and his family decided to sell the agency.
Rick was named as Educational Consultant for CIC programs in the State of Kentucky in 2003, and remains active as Educational Consultant and as a national speaker in the CIC and CISR programs.

Dr. Victor Puleo is the Davey Chair of Risk Management and Insurance in the Lacy School of Business at Butler University, Indianapolis, IN. He earned a doctorate degree in risk management and insurance at Florida State University. Dr. Puleo has articles published in the Journal of Insurance Issues, Risk Management and Insurance Review, Managerial Finance, and Best's Review.The Davey Risk Management and Insurance Program at Butler University equips students with a variety of experiential education - including two required for-credit internships. Butler University's College of Business is the top-ranked business school in the country for internships according to Bloomberg Businessweek's rankings. Highlights of the Davey Risk Management and Insurance Program include the first-of-its-kind student-run captive insurance company, lifelong career mentors, two required for-credit internships, student attendance at national and regional industry events, classroom case studies, and an elite chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma - the international collegiate insurance, risk management and actuarial student fraternity. Dr. Puleo is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is an Educational Consultant (1994) and National Faculty Member (2008) for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Dr. Puleo is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of The National Alliance Research Academy. Prior to being named the Davey Chair of Risk Management and Insurance, Dr. Puleo was an Associate Professor of Insurance and Risk Management at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Conway, AR. The insurance and risk management undergraduate degree program at UCA is nationally ranked. Students from UCA were the first in the country to be conferred the University Associate Certified Insurance Counselor (UACIC) designation. The UACIC designation was created to give college students pursuing an insurance and risk management undergraduate degree the opportunity to attain a new level of professionalism through advanced practical education while in college. This designation is a program of the National Alliance Research Academy.
