PIANY ‘fell’ in love with Fitzpatrick

This year’s featured speaker was comedian Buddy Fitzpatrick, a regular at prominent showcase clubs in New York City. Fitzpatrick engaged guests by interacting with them about insurance, family and more. No matter who you were, Fitzpatrick wasn’t afraid to pick on you; he asked, “Where were you?” to people who arrived late, and “Where are you going?” to people who were leaving their seats. The physical, unfiltered style of Fitzpatrick made laughing easy, as he often picked on himself for falling or getting old. Fitzpatrick was a frequent opener for Joan Rivers, and currently Joy Behar. He has been featured on Comedy Central, and also has starred in films such as American Brawler, Hospital Arrest, Blue Lives Matter and Puppets.

Comedian Buddy Fitzpatrick keynotes this year’s MetroRAP.
