Award recipients will receive tuition for two Certified Insurance Service Representative national designation courses offered by PIANY (a $400 value). If all five exams are passed, the recipient will earn the CISR designation.

Bernard I. Kozel Memorial Scholarship

In honor of Bernard I. Kozel, a longtime member of the insurance profession; the Kozel family has established a memorial scholarship in his name to provide an individual with tuition to two CISR seminars conducted by PIANY.

Joseph M. Leff Scholarship

In honor of Joseph M. Leff's service to NY-YIP and PIANY, friends and family have established a memorial scholarship in his name to provide an individual with tuition to two CISR seminars conducted by PIANY.

Criteria for either scholarship

• You have less than five years' experience in the insurance industry; and
• You are employed on a full-time basis by a member of PIANY or applicant must be a NY-YIP.
